Broadcaster and author, Simon Calder will lead this year’s stage line up at Scotland’s national tourism conference, the STA Signature Sessions taking place on 13 and 14 March at Glasgow’s SEC, focusing on the theme of futureproofing tourism in what has recently become a more challenging economic and political climate for anyone connected with Scotland’s tourism industry.

A host of experts and leading opinion formers in the world of travel and tourism, sustainability, marketing, food and drink, transport and hospitality will take to the stage this year to deliver valuable insights and inspiration in a new conference format.

Tourism Minister, Fiona Hyslop MSP will open the conference with the industry address, acknowledging current challenges and outlining the Scottish Government’s support for one of Scotland’s most important sectors.
