Following the successes of our new format events in 2023 and 2024, VisitScotland Connect 2025 planning is underway. Our flagship travel trade event is set to return on 9-10 April 2025, to the P&J Live in Aberdeen.
Eligible trade-ready businesses will be able to register interest for our 2025 event, with applications opening from Tuesday 10 September.
VisitScotland Connect is our flagship travel-trade event, designed to create opportunities for Scottish businesses to engage with and showcase their product offering to tour operators from across the world, and help attract visitors to Scotland.
The workshop-style event is an opportunity to engage with operators selling in markets across the globe, to promote destinations and products for inclusion in travel itineraries throughout 2026 and 2027.
VisitScotland Connect is open to tourism businesses based in Scotland, or with a Scottish office, and with a product offering tailored for sale through travel trade channels and at trade rates. To be eligible to attend, your businesses needs to have staff experienced in working with UK and international trade buyers and have a listing on our travel trade website.
In 2024, 222 Scottish tourism businesses attended. This was up 27% on our 2023 event, with more than 60 Scottish businesses joining us for the first time. Will 2025 be your year?
