This week, VisitAberdeenshire launched their domestic 'Make a Day of It' campaign to encourage locals to explore the region this autumn.

‘Make a Day of It’ aims to inspire and enthuse people living in and around Aberdeen to explore the city deeper and extend visits beyond a lunch stop or shopping trip to include a full day of activities.

The campaign celebrates what makes a day in Aberdeen a truly unique experience. It’s an invitation for locals to discover something new or remind themselves of their favourite locations this autumn.

From the city’s award-winning cultural attractions, excellent food and drink options to the wide-open spaces of parks and beaches, there’s lots to experience.

VisitAberdeenshire's multi-channel campaign is delivered in partnership with DC Thomson and supported by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. It’ll feature radio adverts on Original 106, a pull-out supplement with the Press & Journal (P&J), online articles on the P&J’s website, and inspirational content across other print supplements - including Your Life.

The ‘Make a Day of It’ campaign this autumn is the first of four waves of Aberdeen-focused promotion, with further campaigns from the destination marketing organisation planned in 2024 and early 2025.
