An advert celebrating the Scottish Thistle Awards was viewed by almost one million Scots adults when it aired on STV in July.
The 30-second advert, which featured recent winners from Scotland’s premier tourism and events awards, aired over an 11-day period on STV at the start of July. A total of 985,000 Scots adults saw the advert at least once during this period, and on average, those who saw the advert saw it 2.9 times.
It aired during top shows, such as Coronation Street, This Morning and The Chase.
The advert featured footage and interviews with recent winners from the National Final of the Scottish Thistle Award, with a focus on best practice in responsible tourism in Scotland.
