We continue to help the Scottish tourism industry recover and keep Scotland front of mind for visitors. It's important that we work with communities to understand local needs and inform on key activity and insights.

On Wednesday 31 May, we hosted an online industry update for community tourism groups. Partnering with Highland Council, we shared key activity and insights on local tourism. Our Regional Development Executive, Caitlin McLeod, presented alongside colleagues from Highland Council.

We discussed responsible tourism and insights, marketing activity, events, and updated on visitor management activity. It was beneficial to hear from local community groups about tourism in their area.

Thank you to all those who were able to join us at the session. It generated positive and productive discussion following the presentations with our speakers.

If you missed the session, or want to revisit the presentations, these are now available.
