From November 2024 - February 2025, our Industry Engagement and EventScotland teams will be running a series of free, half-day Regional Events Industry Engagement Workshops across the country.

These workshops provide an opportunity for local industry representatives to gather and hear updates from key sector partners, share good practice, and feedback on their experience of event delivery in the area.

Four workshops have been confirmed to take place before the end of the year, in Glasgow, Aberdeen, Galashiels, and Dundee. Details of additional workshops to take place in the New Year will be announced shortly.

“Following the launch of Scotland’s refreshed National Events Strategy 2024-2035 earlier this year, we look forward to meeting with a range of event sector colleagues as part of our free regional events industry engagement workshops.

The sessions will provide attendees with an update on strategy progress, as well as the opportunity to discuss region-specific challenges and opportunities.

By bringing the events sector together in a focused setting, it helps further strengthen community connections and networks, and enables us to gather valuable insight on a range of topics.
