Scottish Borders - stage three
The Scottish Borders will host the Lloyds Tour of Britain Women for the first time this June. Stage three of the UCI Women’s World Tour event comes to Kelso on Saturday 7 June.
The announcement comes after the region has successfully hosted the Lloyds Tour of Britain Men on ten occasions since 2009. Most recently, Paul Magnier won the opening stage in Kelso in September 2024.
Stage three, the penultimate leg of the 2025 race and the "Queen Stage", will again start and finish at The Square in Kelso. Riders will tackle a testing and spectator friendly stage route around the Eildon Hills, similar to that raced on by the men in 2024.
The route will include visits to Melrose, Denholm, and Jedburgh, as well as a passage of the finish line on Kelso’s cobbled market square. Full details, including "Queen of the Mountains" and "Sprint" locations, to be announced in the coming weeks.
