A new tourism and hospitality toolkit, designed to support employers and employees across Scotland's dynamic tourism and hospitality sector, is now live.

The toolkit provides practical resources, guidance, and tools to help you navigate the challenges and opportunities in the industry.

Who should use the toolkit? 

Whether you're a waiter, tour guide, event organiser, restaurant manager, apprentice, or CEO, this toolkit is designed for you. No matter your role, you'll find useful resources and information tailored to your needs.

What’s in the toolkit?

The toolkit is divided into two sections. One for employers and one for employees. This means you can find the information that is most relevant to you.

It includes practical guidance, case studies, expert advice and tools to help both employers and employees navigate the challenges and opportunities in the industry.

The toolkit focuses on key areas including:

  • recruitment and retention
  • fair work
  • training and development
  • achieving net zero
  • rights at work
  • financial support
  • health and wellbeing
