Edinburgh Festivals, August 2024
Edinburgh is renowned as the world’s leading festival city. Various festivals take place throughout the year, especially during August.
AIG Women’s Open, St Andrews, 21 - 25 August 2024
The AIG Women's Open will take place at St Andrews – the home of golf. It will be the third time the iconic Old Course will have staged the prestigious Championship.
Orkney 2025 Island Games, 12 - 18 July 2025
A celebration of sports and island communities. This week-long event will see athletes from up to 24 island groups from across the world compete in 13 exciting sports.
UEFA EURO 2028, summer 2028
Scotland will co-host UEFA EURO 2028. Glasgow will be one of nine cities across the UK where matches will be played. Hampden is one of 10 stadiums proposed as a venue to host.
