St Andrews iCentre staff ready to welcome golf fans
Staff from the information centre in St Andrews will be on hand to offer their expert advice and guidance to visitors on how to experience the best of Fife during The 150th Open taking place between 10 - 17 July.
The Open is the oldest golf tournament in the world. A record-breaking 290,000 golf fans are expected to attend the event in July, as it returns to the Old Course in St Andrews and the Home of Golf.
The team at St Andrews iCentre are encouraging visitors to explore what the region has to offer, as part of their trip to Scotland. An important part of the iCentre’s role is helping visitors to enjoy the area responsibly, by linking visitors with local tourism businesses and sharing information on some of the hidden gems that can be enjoyed.
The iCentre has already seen excitement build as a result of The Big Bag Trail, developed by Callaway Golf and St Andrews Links Trust in the run up to The Open.
